Thank you to our funding partners and participants for all your support throughout the life of the project. Revolution Marrickville will work to fill the empty shopfronts in 359 Illawarra Road with short and medium term uses that will benefit the community. Our goal is to provide incubation space for emerging artists, entrepreneurs and community groups, encourage foot traffic and help contribute t

o a vibrant Marrickville – both socially and economically. While these empty spaces are in transition, Revolution Marrickville will find artists, cultural projects and community groups to use and maintain these spaces (rent free) until they become commercially leased. Revolution Marrickville is a joint initiative of Renew Australia, Clearpoint and the lessor.

The team at Clearpoint have commercially leased The Purple Peacock's wonderful space at Shop 5, 359 Illawarra Road Marrickville.

Sarah let us know that she is "very grateful for the wonderful opportunity and along with all your help over the past 17 months. It has been a very real pleasure having this space for the time."

Sarah hands back the keys at the end of the month, but is encouraging her customers to pop in and grab a bargain!

Until the 10th of February, you can not only visit The Rizzeria in Marrickville, but at The Tribe in Darlinghurst.

You can book in to use the risograph like you normally would, and they'll also be running a series of special workshops.

Pop in and visit them at their usual home in Marrickville at Shop 2, 359 Illawarra Road from 12pm tomorrow.
