The vintage colours are finally here!

Our much loved Anne Yarn is now available in a limited collection of beautiful vintage shades: cherry, flamingo, lavender, plum, mint, moss and chocolate, all in the same 100% mercerized cotton Anne Yarn is known for.

500m per ball means these little balls go a LONG way. I’ve already been putting them to the test with my own projects, and I’m still amazed by how much you can make from them.

These colours are vintage stock and quantities are very limited. Once a colour is gone, it’s gone.

Summer crochet loading ☀️🤍

I made this crochet skirt / beach cover up with Anne Yarn in Natural, and it’s such a good example of just how far this yarn goes.

For an XS I used only around 1½ balls, which means there’s still plenty left for another project 🧶

Anne is 100% mercerised cotton, lightweight and perfect for all those summer crochet pieces.

Another project finished using Anne Yarn in vintage green 🌿🧶

This little button up vest came together with a mix of mesh stitches, bobbles, and lots of experimenting until it felt just right. 💚

What amazes me most is how far this yarn goes. I’ve already made two tops from this colourway, and I still have yarn left for another project. 👀

These vintage Anne colours will be coming to the website soon, but they’re very limited. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Was gifted the most gorgeous bunch of Anne Yarn in vintage colours, 100% mercerised cotton, and obviously had to put it straight to use. 🌿🧶

The first project had to be this top in sage green, featuring a ribbed cream stripe and a delicate floral lace panel. Handmade stitch by stitch with lots of love. ✨Lace pattern in the last slide.

And there’s still SO much yarn left that another project is already on the hook. 👀 These beautiful vintage colours will be coming to the website soon too. They’re very limited, with only 6 balls of each colour available… if I don’t use them all myself first. 😂💚

A little convention project 🤍🩷

Between chats, yarn squishing, and meeting so many lovely makers at the Australian Crochet Convention, I started this top using leftover yarn from my stash.

I paired Anne Natural with Neon Summer Pink and ended up loving the marled effect they created together. Sometimes the best projects come from using what you already have.

The stitch pattern was inspired by a beautiful openwork design I came across and adapted into this lightweight summer top. It worked up quickly and was the perfect crochet companion for a weekend surrounded by yarn and creativity.

Proof that even the smallest leftovers can become something special!

Still smiling after an incredible weekend at the Crochet Convention 2026! 🧶✨ Crochet Guild Australia

It was wonderful catching up with familiar faces, meeting new makers, learning from talented crocheters, and being part of such a welcoming and creative community.

Thank you to everyone who visited the Chuchu Yarns stall, shared their projects, asked questions, and supported my small business.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, speakers, fellow vendors, and everyone who made the weekend so special.

I’m heading home inspired, grateful, and already looking forward to next year.
