On location in rural nsw, HAC is shooting short dance film GWD. Hosted by Imagine Platform we are soaking up the one of a kind waterscapes in rural NSW’s Great Lakes district. It couldn’t be more picturesque!

Pictured here is JC Bailey, HAC’s Director in Chief for the project. Like all HAC’s multi skilled artists she’s working behind and infront of the camera. From the air to the water, aerialist, choreographer and director, JC is taking HAC to new depths with GWD!

2021 is the sixth Global Water Dances event and 10th years of working and dancing together for safe water. Because of this, Global Water Dances is extending their single day event into a full week of festivities, running from Tuesday, June 8th (World Ocean Day) through Sunday, June 13th.

On location with Romain Hassanin, HAC is shooting a short dance film GWD during a DAIR residency... Romain is breaking out all the moves and making a splash. As a break, acro and contemporary dancer, HAC could not be more pleased to be working with Romain on GWD.

Global Water Dances began with 57 choreographic sites and now has grown to encompass 108 participating sites across six continents.

On location for the GWD short dance film... Joining the HAC team for the Project with camera in hand is Johnas Liu! Don’t worry there’s always time for a cameo 😉. Multi-skilled in film making, parkour and acro, Johnas has all the moves on and off screen!

The work between Global Water Dances and local choreographers around the world draws on Rudolf Laban and Irmgard Bartenieff’s practices with human movement to mirror the universe’s dynamic patterns.
