‘A ghost never dies, it remains always to come and to come back’ (Derrida, 1994). 

In states of non-being, between the material and immaterial, ‘a ghost never dies’ embraces the persistence of absence and presence, like the warmth of a winter sun, an aimless sexbot in a post-human carpark, clumped hair left in the shower drain. 

Artists Michail Mathioudakis, Bonnie Huang and Estelle Yoon trace the haunting nature of longing and desire through personal archives, revealing lingering landscapes of memory and loss.

Departing from conventional commentary and delving into depictions of self, artists Mathew Gorgula, Lucija Zaja, Jana Ortanez, Wen Pei and Aemyn transcend ego and inaction to unveil the transformative nature of image and sound. As our artists embrace diverse materiality to explore the intricacies of our internal landscapes, we bring them together in The Waiting Room to offer space for healing and reflection.

March for Palestine with us! ❤️

If you want to show up to the march at Hyde Park tomorrow but don’t have anyone to go with, or want to march with a group of artists in support of a Free Palestine, march with us! We’ll be meeting at 12:45pm at a location near St James station. DM If you’d like to join us and we’ll message you the exact meeting spot! 🖤

Whether or not you’ve met TWRP team before or marched for Palestine previously, everyone is welcome to join us! Change is made by those of us that have the privilege of safety. Our presence and voices are essential in showing our continued support for Palestinian liberation! 🤍
