It’s Week 17 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop, and this week we’re creating with the gorgeous Coastal Cabana. 💚

I decided to make something a little different this week: a tri-fold arch card using the stunning Valley in Bloom Suite Collection.

I used the three largest Everyday Arches Dies to create the card and its layers, and I love how the three arches open out into one continuous design. Even better, it stands up beautifully, making it a gorgeous card to put on display.

My colour combination came straight from the Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper:
🌿 Coastal Cabana
🌿 Darling Duckling
🌿 Garden Green
🌿 Lemon Lime Twist

The lily of the valley images were stamped, coloured with Stampin’ Blends and die cut using the Lily of the Valley Bundle.

I also tried something fun with the Luxe White Specialty Designer Series Paper, using a Blending Brush to softly add Coastal Cabana ink while allowing the beautiful white pattern to show through. Swipe through for a closer look at how I created it!

And a little bonus if you love this DSP as much as I do: the Valley in Bloom 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper is on sale now!

🩵 AWH Colour Creations – Week 15: Cloud Cover

This week I finally did it... I cut into some of the Lovely Blossoms DSP I’ve been hoarding! 😆

And what better excuse when it’s currently included in the Stampin’ Up! paper sale?

I’ve paired Cloud Cover with Secret Sea, Old Olive and Basic White to create three cards, all using the fabulous Lovely Arrangements Bundle that includes the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set andDies.

For my hero card, I used the Circle Lattice Die from the Lovely Arrangements Dies to cut two panels from Cloud Cover card stock. I then cut the same die twice from Secret Sea card stock, kept all those tiny negative diamond-shaped pieces and carefully adhered them back into the Cloud Cover openings.

A little fiddly? Yes! But I love the geometric pattern it created and the contrast of Cloud Cover and Secret Sea.

I also made two birthday cards using the stunning Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper I’ve been hoarding, pairing Cloud Cover and Secret Sea with Old Olive and Basic White. Lots of fussy cutting lets those gorgeous floral designs do the hard work.

And the timing couldn’t be better to finally cut into this DSP. Lovely Blossoms DSP is currently included in the Stampin’ Up! paper sale, while the Lovely Arrangements Dies are now in Last Chance.

Welcome to Week 15 of the Art With Heart Team Colour Creations InstaHop, and this week we’re creating with the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler.

I’ve gone full Christmas for my project with a coordinating Interlocking Triangle Gift Box and Christmas card, featuring the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle.

Isn’t that box shape fabulous? The instructions came from a US demo “Lauren from Lauren’s Scrap Lot”, who has a great YouTube video showing how to make this clever interlocking box.

The striped DSP is from the new A Little Christmas 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper, available from 1 September with the release of the September–December 2026 Mini Catalogue.

Inspired by the colours in the DSP I’ve used Cherry Cobbler and Basic Beige with touches of gold throughout both projects, and I absolutely love this colour combination!

There’s another little sneak peek on the coordinating card too. The beautiful woven texture is created with the new Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder.

I finished both projects with layered poinsettias from the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle and Gold Striped 3/8" (1 cm) Mesh Ribbon for a little Christmas shimmer. ✨

Who's excited for the forthcoming Stampin' Up! September–December Catalogue?

This week's Art With Heart Colour Creations features Calypso Coral and it was the perfect excuse to play with one of the beautiful new stamp sets coming in the September–December Catalogue: Lovely Celebration!

I created an easel card featuring this delicious frosted cake, coloured with Crisp Cantaloupe Stampin' Blends, with a Smoky Slate cake stand and Calypso Coral flowers. The flowers and cake were all fussy cut, while the foliage was die cut from Old Olive Cardstock using the Help Me Grow Dies.

I finished the centre of the flowers with 2026–2028 In Color™ Dots in Crisp Cantaloupe for a little extra sparkle.

The best part? My card folds flat to fit in an envelope but it also stands up beautifully for display!

Next in our hop is Kirsty .littlemiss. Be sure to check out her beautiful Calypso Coral creation!

Have you ever made a card that's almost as much fun to open as it is to create?

For Week 13 of the Art With Heart Team Colour Creations Blog Hop we're celebrating Cajun Craze, a rich, earthy colour that's perfect for masculine cards, autumn projects and vintage-inspired designs.

For my project, I created an Accordion Z Fold Card with a Card Within a Card. It might have a long name, but it's a fantastic interactive fold with plenty of wow factor! Just when you think you've opened the card, there's an extra surprise waiting inside as you discover the hidden card within the card.

I made this card for my brother's birthday and started with the gorgeous bicycle pattern from the Waterside Retreat 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper. It paired perfectly with the adorable bicycle stamp from the June Bikes & Blooms Paper Pumpkin Kit, creating a cohesive masculine design.

One of my favourite features is the metallic shine on the sentiments. If you spotted those elegant foil accents, they're created using my new Stampin' Up! Hot Foil Machine and the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies. I'm absolutely loving the professional finish they add to handmade cards.

Despite its impressive appearance, this fun fold is surprisingly straightforward to make and offers plenty of space to decorate both inside and out. The hidden card adds another interactive element and gives you even more room for a personal message, making it a wonderful design for milestone birthdays and other special occasions.

Next in our hop is Kate (). Be sure to visit her blog and see the beautiful project she's created using Cajun Craze.

Bubble Bath is the featured colour for Week 12 of the Art With Heart Team Colour Creations InstaHop and I've lent into its feminine vibes by creating a monochromatic floral birthday card.

The flowers from the Lovely Arrangements Bundle were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured with the Light and Dark Bubble Bath Stampin' Blends, creating soft shading and dimension while staying true to the single-colour palette.

For a little extra elegance, I stamped the leaves onto Vellum using VersaMark Ink and white heat embossed them. The vellum adds softness behind the bouquet, while the crisp white embossing provides contrast without overwhelming the design.

The background is embossed with the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder and I added a strip of Beach Boardwalk Designer Series Paper layered over a slightly wider strip of Basic White card stock.

This week's Art With Heart Colour Creations challenge features Blueberry Bushel and I planned to use the Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper to make a birthday card for my dad.

However, with it currently out of stock, I reached for the Painted Skies Kit instead. It's a reminder that kits don't have to be used exactly as intended.

The stunning scenic artwork in the Painted Skies Kit was too beautiful to cover up, so I kept the design simple and made the paper itself the star of the card using “Double Vision” technique.

Double vision is a clever illusion is much easier than it looks. Simply cut the image into equal-width strips (keeping them in order), then alternate attaching the strips with adhesive and foam strips.

The result is a fantastic dimensional effect that changes as you look at it from different angles.

A group of the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order, and this week we're celebrating the rich, regal tones of Blackberry Bliss.

This card has a very special purpose. I've made it for my beautiful Aunty Robin, who celebrates her 90th birthday this month. Milestone birthdays deserve milestone cards, and I couldn't resist showcasing the gorgeous new Begonia Belle stamp set, which is this month's Product of the Month.

To make the floral arrangement pop, I fussy cut the flowers and outlined each one with the Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blend. For the sentiment, I used a little masking trick with the Words & Wishes stamp set to create the "th" in 90th, making it perfect for this very special celebration.

💗 AWH Colour Creations Week 9: Berry Burst! 💗

This week our Art With Heart Team Colour Creations Hop is all about Berry Burst, and I couldn't resist pairing this gorgeous vibrant pink with the stunning Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape.

I created a Double Gatefold Card with a coordinating custom envelope using Moonlit Flora and Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper. The layered floral clusters and gold foil details make this such a fun birthday card to create for a very special birthday.

Because this card is slightly larger than a standard Australian card, I made a coordinating handmade envelope using Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper. I always think a beautiful handmade card deserves an equally special envelope!

🩶 AWH Colour Creations Week 8: Basic Gray 🩶

This week's Colour Creations card has a special destination... it's heading to my youngest niece, who turns 8 at the end of June! 🎉

I couldn't resist using the adorable koala from the Wild Bunch Stamp Set for her birthday card. Basic Gray was paired with Petal Pink and soft Smoky Slate colouring to creates a sweet Australian-inspired design.

For the foliage, I used a blending brush to blend Basic Gray ink onto Basic White card stock to create a soft ombré effect before cutting the foliage with the Fern & Flora Dies. The scalloped circle was cut from Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper using the Scalloped Blooms Dies, and the birthday greeting was also cut using a label die from the Fern & Flora Dies.

To finish, I added a few Petal Pink Dear Dots. If you've been thinking about grabbing these embellishments, they're currently in the Last Chance section for just $7.50!

Colour Combo:
🩶 Basic Gray
🩷 Petal Pink
🤍 Basic White
🩶 Smoky Slate
🖤 Basic Black

Who knew Basic Gray could be so cute?
