It’s been a busy 12 months for PXD.
With live events in 16 cities across 5 countries. Including 5 states / territories here in Australia.

Production isn’t just about filling a truck full of gear and driving it to a gig. It’s about producing the client’s vision anywhere they choose to be.

It was our pleasure to production manage Commons Worship “What A Beautiful Name” tour of Asia recently. Off the back of amazing pre production work by our friends at Eternal Vision Live, Chad Keating was brought on to execute production management across Asia.

Different countries, different setups, different vendors, same confidence.

// Tour Time //
Off to Asia with our updated Resolume rig for LED content and creative IMAG.
Also executing production management on this tour, so there’s a little care package for the band and the usual “get out of jails”.

Your venue manages the venue. Your AV supplier manages the technology.

But who is managing the production of your event?

As events grow, critical responsibilities often fall into the gaps between the organiser, venue and suppliers:

• Content collection and playback
• Custom LED screen layouts
• Production runsheets and the Tech Bible
• Venue and supplier coordination
• CAD plans and room layouts
• Creative briefs and previsualisation
• Communications
• Onsite production leadership

Not because anyone is doing a poor job—but because no one has been appointed to manage the production as a whole.

External production management brings all of these moving parts together into one coordinated plan.

The result?

Fewer surprises.
Faster bump-ins.
Better rehearsals.
Clearer responsibilities.
Less pressure on the event organiser.

Because the best events do not feel complicated to the audience.

They feel effortless.

In her 6 years at PXD, has been amazingly good at avoiding getting her face in photos. Just one of her many talents.
The rest of her talents have been invaluable building PXD to what you see today. As she so often reminds us, we could not have done it without her.
