UBUNTU NA RUA! 🥁

Another big achievement for Maracatu Ubuntu - parading at Sydney’s biggest Festa Junina street celebration yet: Toca Luiz!

Bringing together the traditions of maracatu from Pernambuco and the vibrant spirit of Festa Junina here in Australia, it was a truly memorable evening. We love every chance to take the drums out to where they belong: on the street, beating in the heart of the people.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate, danced alongside us, and helped fill the streets with so much joy. See you for the next one!
