The Rocky Horror Picture Show - Sydney

In 2010, our cast made a triumphant return to the Chauvel Conema, where the show ran for just under a year. Part of the wanton success if that season was our sharp-witted wise-cracking co-host, Angie Demaskau.

Sadly, we have lost another cast member, as Angie has sadly left us.

Here’s to your camaraderie, your counsel, your understanding, bravado, and sheer silliness. Bouncing off you onstage was a joy!

Our old friend, Michael Dowling, who played Rocky in the Canberra cast of the early 1990’s. visiting the Sydney cast and subbing in for Rocky at times. He was kind, generous, and lived his role (even if he refused to trim his hair 😉…I am so sorry to hear that the fight overcame you. You were one of the good, empathetic, and supportively funny ones. 😢

I realise that at time it seems we seem to post the endings of our cast members, which seems to be a bit of an antithesis to the joy of the show. However, his performance lives on in photos and people’s memories.

Tomorrow night, Rocky Horror returns to the place of it's Sydney birth. Event Cinemas, 505 George Street. The cinema is large, the cast is primed, the tickets are selling fast. Remember look for us in V-Max at 9pm. Prizes for best dressed, and remember to bring your rice ;)

I must say, that we had the most excellent show last Friday night at The Chauvel Theatre. Not only was it sold out, but the audience was brilliant, and the cast? The cast was just spectacular! Then, on Saturday night, a GREAT performance at The Factory Theatre for Under the Blue Moon. MANY thanks to the great people at Under The Blue Moon for having us as a part of your brilliant festival! Long may the Blue Moon shine!

20th Century Fox Australia and Same Same have confirmed today that the October 29th performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show will also be the official Australian launch of the 35th Anniversary Blu-Ray Edition of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Yes, my lovlies, we are on Friday night October 29th, and tickets are selling VERY fast for this one. Must be because it's Halloween, or because we're part of the Under The Blue Moon Festival, or perhaps that we are launching the 35th Anniversary Blu-Ray Edition of the movie that night... maybe all. Who am I kidding, it's the fabulous movie and our brilliant cast!
