Design Fringe, the new evolution of Melbourne Fringe’s longest running program, Fringe Furniture, will be making its home at Linden New Art in 2022
This years’ provocation is Design the Future: Don’t Waste Time, centring around the major global challenge of sustainability
Encouraging both designers and audiences to assess their relationships with objects, looking to the past, and the future of design, to better inform our decision making, and investigate notions of necessity, novelty and obsoletion
We’re proud to partner with the platform for the fifth year - supporting and promoting Australian furniture design talent. In February work by five designers exhibited with us at (formerly ) as part of our ADA Design Futures Award 🏆

After 34 years, Fringe Furniture, newly rebranded as DESIGN FRINGE, features as a highlight of Melbourne Fringe from September to November - and moves to the wonderful heritage building that houses Linden New Art in St Kilda
