Each Clockfire story begins with a concept and is developed through physical improvisation. The stories, movement and text are created and crafted collaboratively by the actors and artists involved. The final product is a fully-formed piece of original theatre, by dynamic performers who seek to surprise and entertain diverse audiences - across Australia and abroad. We are thrilled to announce that Clockfire Theatre Company is featured as a case study in the NSW Department of Education’s Stage 5 Drama sample unit on Creating Innovative Theatre.

Students will explore Clockfire’s physical devising process, collaborative creativity, risk-taking and innovative use of space, using our work as a springboard for their own devised performances.

If you’d like students to experience this process first hand or just want to energise your students’ creative process we deliver high school programs across NSW and we’d love to work with you.

This weekend we were lucky enough to witness 's Nowhere at .
An incredibly powerful and deeply affecting work that speaks to exile, memory and moral responsibility. We left profoundly bolstered by the power of theatre and storytelling and are still processing Khalid's work.

That energy carried into today’s gathering at Addison Rd Community Hall organsied by , where .eskanda and Khalid Abdalla spoke to the power of cultural boycotts and BDS, anti-Palestinian racism and the difficult necessary choices facing artists and institutions at present. Thoughtfully, beautifully facilitated by .jpg this conversation was a vital reminder of the role culture plays in moments of moral crisis and what solidarity can look like in practice.

A huge thank you to community today! We left feeling enlightened, connected and committed to what artists and culture can make possible when we come together. 🍉
