Inspired by colour, light and nature. I am passionate about my work with glass. I love working with this material, which allows me to play with visual and tactile textures. The dialogue with glass is a true reflection of life... we plan, we calculate, but it always surprises us, and that is part of its magic. This material has taught me to be resilient to failure, change, and to be very patient. I

t all began in 2002 in Caracas, Venezuela, at the Cristóbal Rojas School of Visual Arts, and since then, it has become both my artistic medium and my voice. I use multiple fusion and stained glass techniques for my creations, with nature being my greatest source of inspiration. In most of them, I explore the intrinsic relationship between glass and metal, resulting in art objects in colors and textures that represent the beauty of nature and our natural world. They are unique and cannot be repeated.

“THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY”

Hello! My name is Lisette. I’m a glass artist originally from Venezuela 🇻🇪
In 2017 I moved to Chile 🇨🇱 and in April 2024 I started a new chapter of my life here in Australia 🇦🇺
Art has been my constant companion through every move 🔥
This transition hasn’t been easy - especially leaving behind almost all my tools, materials and even my kiln. Starting from scratch sometimes feels overwhelming, but I believe every small step matters.

Here I am, step by step, rebuilding my workshop, learning, adapting and keeping my passion for glass alive.
This is the beginning of my journey as a glass artist in Australia. Thank you for being here to share it with me 🫶
