TITLE: UNTHINKABLE

The Festival of Hanukah is about light - “The Festival of Lights”

While light is a physical property its power is profound.
Its presence fills (dispels) far more darkness than the size of the flame.

We to have a light within us - that of the spirit and when we shine it we too dispel much darkness.

So many of you have shown your light over the past day and it indeed brought much needed light.

I want to thank the many local and international art community and local neighbors for being there and for your kind wishes and condolences.

I encourage us all to resolve to spread light - speak positivity, with kindness to your neighbors and to strangers you may never see again, look favorably towards those around you and assist those who come in your path - maybe it’s stopping to let a mum pass with a praam or helping an elderly person carry their groceries we each encounter opportunities to share our light, let us light up this dark moment without expectation, like the candle to simply be there and shine our light.
