The Pin Up Parlor The Pin Up Parlor embraces the charm and wonder of bygone eras, producing live entertainment and art exhibitions infused with frivolity and quirk.

The Pin Up Parlor is led by the dynamic sister duo Betty Belle and Gigi Vine, co-producing the Parlor events with their skills combined in Visual Arts, Design, Performing Arts and Curation. The Parlor works with a collective of artists made up of some of Sydney’s finest cabaret, circus and burlesque performers, vintage pin up models and visual artists. The Parlor shows are unique in Sydney’s fring

e scene as they take a, ‘whole of event approach’ teasing and tantalising their audiences from the moment they walk in until the moment they leave. All the shows are presented within a vaudeville context ranging from the 1920’s through to the 1960’s. Gigi Vine and Jerry Fox host the events weaving the show together with comedy, skilfully combining all the elements of the front and backstage. Each show features both resident and guest performers, and you even get a chance to get up close and personal with the stunning 'Sirens', who will be sure to work the crowd. Betty Belle curates art exhibitions that take place at each event working with a mixed medium of visual artists including; street, tattoo, design and typographers. The visual artist’s work to theme, creating a very succinct and unique component to live performance.

Today I read the sad news that The BackRoom Sydney has closed its doors. 4 years ago The Pin Up Parlor got its start at The Backroom and without Raul & TK and their team giving our little event a chance we would not be where we are today! Thank you guys for all the fun times and late nights. They will be greatly missed. The curtain has closed for now, but we look forward to following what you come up with next and wish you nothing but the best for the future. Betty & Gigi xx
