A bit over 20 years ago, a mate of mine and I released our first single together as an artist, Zaab & State of Soul - "When I Hold You". The single was released in Australia through Universal Music and made it onto some cool overseas labels too like Hed Kandi in the UK. We wrote a bunch of tracks back then that I've always really liked, but haven't been released, until now! This is one of the tracks we wrote back then, "Saturday", which we've remixed to update it a bit (though honestly it's not that different to the production from back then). It's chilled out, soulful house music, hope you like it! :)

Our new relaxation album is out today! As some of you may know my wife Eva is a massage therapist, and I thought I might write a 90 minute album of totally relaxing, hopeful, meditative instrumental music in the hope of getting more massages! 😆 Anyway if you want to seriously chill out, relax, sleep, meditate, whatever....you might enjoy this, go give it a listen! Well it took a while for the trophy to arrive due to covid affecting manufacturing of the trophy apparently! Anyway it's here now and has pride of place in the studio, on top of the left monitor! :)

Wrote and produced this song for the "Don't Be A Tosser" campaign last year with Paper Moose, great to see it picking up a couple of awards. of course it would not be the same without the stunning rock vocals of Peter Millwood (as lead octopus)......🤣

So goooood to be back in the recording studio again with acclaimed music producer/composer Steve Peach working on my 2020 version of my 2016 song Emancipate (which was part of the soundtrack of the Aussie film Thicker than Water). Steve is such a pleasure to work with and has a wealth of experience behind him, having worked with Marcia Hines, created remixes of songs for Kylie Minogue and Macy Gray, and composed on the Peter Andrikidis movie Alex & Eve and the AACTA award winning children’s series Bluey.
