Live It See It - Photography

This walk is a relative newcomer to the Sydney Coastal Walk network, with the 2 sections forming the loop opening in 2017-2018 through collaboration between local Council and NSW National Parks.

Following the coastline is a section approximately 3km in length, featuring views back to Maroubra Beach and Coogee in the distance, before reaching Magic Point and Boora Point. The problem though, the ANZAC Rifle Range sees this section close when the range is in action

Perth firefighters were kept busy today with a number of bushfires and a structure fire starting during the afternoon. This bushfire started near Brentwood Rd Kenwick. It burned fiercely and crossed the nearby major roads of Tonkin Highway and Welshpool Rd, which were both closed during the height of the fire. An Emergency Warning was issued for the fire with properties under threat. [ 68 more words. ]

Had a great morning in Sydney Park shooting today's weekly St Peters parkrun 5km timed run. Love the setting on top of the hill with one of the best views of the Sydney city skyline!

Took some new SCUBA gear for a first dive today. Unfortunately I had a malfunction with a crucial item which cut the dive short, but managed to catch a couple of Nudibrancs and a starfish before then...

I've been back in Sydney a little over a week after a month in North America. From the recent storms in Sydney (and still going) to a dose of sunburn while diving with Abyss Scuba Diving - Sydney at Oak Park in Cronulla yesterday with cuttlefish, nudibranchs and jellyfish among the sealife on show.
