Well, I think it's almost officially kinda sorta time to hang up my 'other' hat that has hung here, primarily ignored for the better part of a year.
I am currently beginning my second year as Assistant Principal of Year 5 & 6 (or Stage 3) at my very wonderful school.
I absolutely adore this role. I am lucky enough to love to work hard at this, because it is hard work. It is challenging and sometimes crazy, but always rewarding. But my dedication to my role in education means that the only graphic design and photography I have had/will have time for is for my Year 5 and 6 students, my wonderful team of dedicated teachers or my school as a whole.
I am reluctant to say 'never' because I love creating and I will never *officially* stop, but I do need to let my lovely supporters know that my primary focus is elsewhere. My job is not the kind of job that allows for much down time during the school year, and what I do manage to set aside I will be spending with the people (and the wines) that I love.
Thank you again for your support and love over the years. I have grown so much and shared some wonderful visions with creative and driven business people who have inspired me so much.
