‘Aussie, Aussie, Aussie’ will echo through the streets of Camden tomorrow on Australia Day, Thursday 26 January, when the Camden community unite in celebration of our national day of pride.

The Australia Day activities will kick off at 8am in John Street, Camden with a range of free activities including:
• face painting
• roving entertainment
• mini putt putt golf
• jumping castle
• a thong throwing competition at 10am
• market stalls.

Citizenship Ceremony and Civic Awards will be presented from 9.30am at the Camden Civic Centre, plus, don’t miss the Macarthur Lions Street Parade along Argyle Street, Camden from 11.15am.

Join us in Camden for a great morning out the whole family will enjoy. Best of all, activities are free.

1200 riders will join a group of over 10000 on the 58km ride to Wollongong.

Yesterday I got to add another string to my already formidable bow.

It was my pleasure and great honour to be a part of the wedding of two beautiful women, Charlotte and Sammy.

To be honest, yesterday reaffirmed my belief in marriage equality. I didn't watch 2 women get married yesterday, I watched 2 people who love each other get married and it was beautiful and amazing and wonderful.

Congratulations Charlotte and Sammy. I wish you both an amazing life together.
