The Riff Room Recordings was started by the purchase of a simple audio interface back in 2010 which led to a passion of Audio recording. The facility in Kingsgrove was opened in September 2016 and has grown from a few microphones to a variety of Gear, Guitars, and Instruments. Our services include;

The centrepiece of the Studio has to be the UAD Apollo Interface with amazing studio-quality A/D and D/A audio conversion and leading Plug-In emulations. Along with a selection of Microphones, Gear, and Guitar Pedals, We strive to create our best sounding recordings possible with the resources available. We love working with different genres and People in the studio. With our best skill-set residing in all that is 'Rock' and 'Band recording'. Finally we are gonna see the fruits of The Konrads🤟🎸

On the 14th of June 2019, we release our debut album “...With a K!”

It has been over a year in the making. It all started after I met Ryan and Joaquin at University. We hit it off straight away, and I knew they needed to meet Sam. Cut forward a month and we all finally meet up for the first jam, there was magic in the air. We could tell it was going to be special. After many hours together writing and rehearsing, we started putting the puzzle together and the pieces fell into place.

We started recording the album at Riff Room Recordings alongside the trees and bees. We took our time, figured out our parts, and laid down the foundations of the album ...a few overdubs (and many broken drum sticks) later ...we were cooking! I (Eamon) co-produced this album with Ryan. We have a good synergy together, because he always wants to turn everything up to 11, and gets crazy sounds with anything that makes noise. I then had to take it all and spit it out a song on the other side. At times we would hate what was coming out of the speakers, and other times we were shocked at how much force Joaquin would hit the snare with. Or how into the take Sam would get!

At the end of the day we couldn’t be prouder with what we have done and I speak for all of the band when I say thank you.

We will have more details in the lead up to June 14. But again we have to thank you for coming along for a ride with us, this is just the start!

The Konrads have just released their 2nd Single “Rattly My Bones” which was recorded and mixed at Riff Room. Check it out... it’s explosive.
