👮 Police riot and dog squad in Cabramatta today.

ℹ️ A community member sent these photos in, taken today on Hughes st, Cabramatta.

Unconfirmed reports of the police entering a restaurant and taking away a young man around 20yrs old.

He was taken out to the carpark and then taken away.

🏮 It's Moon Festival month, so we're counting down the days till the Moon Festival 2026!

ℹ️ The festival will be held this year on Sunday 20/9/2026 and will include all your favourite events, lots of food and lion dancing.

🍜 The pho and mooncake competitions will be back this year, as well as the traditional lantern parade. Battle of the broths will also take place, to settle the great debate about what's best, pho vs bun bo hue.

Some favourite acts will again take the stage, including Christina Diem P**c, Alpha Unit, Lion Dance Academy, Cambodian Living Arts and Culture, Duncan Lu with the battle of the broths and lots more!

🦁 There will be multiple lion dance shows throughout the day, including the opening walk, a show almost every hour and then the finale at 7:45pm.

6 lion dance teams will have streets shows and then set up their final act in different locations around the Cabramatta CBD. Your favourite teams are all there, including THQ, Jing Yee, Qing Fong, YYT, Dragon Style Kung Fu and D**g Thanh.

🎇 Fireworks Finale will end the festival at 8pm.

🥳 Congratulations to Julie Dang Agents & Co on celebrating their grand opening yesterday in .

ℹ️ If you were near Meadows rd yesterday, you might've heard the drumming and firecrackers, as celebrations took place at the new office of Julie Dang - Agents & Co.

The lion dance team came down to celebrate, bless the new office and perform for the crowd.

📸 If you missed the performance, we've got some photos for you, thanks to our favourite lion chaser.

So if you want to "talk property", pop down and have a chat with Julie and her team and also welcome them to Mount Pritchard!

Police and family hold concerns for Christian’s welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

When he could not be located or contacted, police were notified on Tuesday (25/8/2026) and commenced inquiries.

🙎🏻‍♂️ Asian appearance, with a medium build, around 170cm tall, with short black hair and has a moustache.

📍He is known to use public transport and frequents the Fairfield area.

🛘 Did you feel the earthquake today?

ℹ️ Residents in the South West of Sydney may have felt the earth shake today, as a magnitude 3.4 earthquake hit near Appin, just south of Campbelltown (near Appin/Picton).

The earthquake hit just after 1pm, recorded at a depth of 3km, shaking houses near the epicentre.

No major damage was reported and earthquakes of this magnitude are not usually considered dangerous.

🚓 Detectives are investigating after a 13yr old girl was found unconscious on the side of Henry Lawson Drive (near Lansvale) at 1am.

ℹ️ Two passing truck drivers found the girl around 1am Thursday morning, on the side of Henry Lawson Drive, Lansdowne.

🚑 They stopped to help before emergency services arrived and rushed the girl to hospital.

Detectives are now investigating how the girl was injured and how she came to be unconscious on the side of the road.

We've no details on the condition of the 13yr old girl at this stage.

News outlets reporting that Will Smith is filming his action Thriller 'Supermax' in Cabramatta.

🔍 Community members reporting he's filming at the Ramada Hotel Cabramatta on the Hume Highway.

[📢 PSA]: ⚠️ If your P plates went missing today in , this is the reason why.

ℹ️ A man was caught on dashcam stealing the P-plates of around 10 cars near Canley Vale High School today.

You can see him running down the street and taking the front and back P-plates off every single car displaying them.

He then gets in his car with the stack of P-plates and drives away.

💬 The community member that sent this into us, said it's happened to them 3 times now, in the last 6 months. They were also worried for the other kids having to drive home without displaying the correct plates as most didn't have a spare in the car.
