THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who made the first ever African Rhythm & Roots Festival 2016 such a success. What a fantastic day! To all our volunteers - without you it would literally not be possible to run this event. We thank you with all our hearts for your hard work and commitment. To our performers - thank you for sharing your beautiful music, dance and rhythm with us. You all work so hard to be as amazing and awe-inspiring as you are and we love you for being with us yesterday. Of course, thank you to all who bought tickets as well. Our festival receives no funding and is crafted and presented by a volunteer committee. It's your ticket money that will ensure our performers on the main stage receive payment in recognition of their amazing art. To the Stallholders, thank you for joining us in making the day so fabulous by filling our bellies with fabulous food and drink, by adorning our bodies with beautiful henna and hair braiding, and ensuring that we are always fabulously dressed and decorated with your fabric, clothing, jewellery and artwork. Thank you to the kids who made the Kids' Zone the most rocking I think it's ever been! Please continue to share your photos with us and with your friends and continue to spread the word about our humble but pretty amazing little festival. :)
