The biggest riddim in dancehall right now 'Hill & Gully', produced by and based on one of Jamaica's most enduring folk songs 'Hill and Gully Ride'.

Check the awesome history by tracing the tune from it's earliest recorded forms as mento all the way to 2026!

Which is your favourite on the riddim?

10/05/2026

The first riddim we’re highlighting in May is a killer crossover ting based on the 1991 zouk classic “La pli si tòl” by

In 2024, (Martinique) had a viral hit with his shatta remix & in 2026, Bajan artists revived it for these trending tunes:

1. - Trouble (She Hate Men)

2. - Weatherman 3style

3. .music - Ring Ring

4. - La pli si tòl (shatta remix)
.. and surely more to come!

🌴🌴🌴

If you dig these vibes, join us at the next Ting-A-Ling on Sat 13th June at The Lord Gladstone, Chippendale!
