Chronicles is coming back!

Maybe…

Would you be interested in the backlog of Chronicles, new episodes, my live and also unreleased sets, all in one place?

Let me know your thoughts. 🤔

I’m looking to get some new headphones. It’s time to retire the old Sony pair.

What are you guys using these days? What’s considered one of the best at the moment?

Thank you! 😁

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱.

This is the climax of the remix I’ve been working on, and this is exactly what I mean when I talk about feeling music rather than just producing it.

This moment wouldn’t hit the same way if everything before it hadn’t taken you somewhere.

The contrast.
The tension.
The darker emotion.
The space.
The gradual return of that feeling.

And then finally... this.

You can probably see on my face that I’m not sitting there thinking about whether the mix is technically correct 😂

I’m feeling it.

That’s how I make a lot of my decisions when I’m creating music. And ironically, learning to trust that instead of constantly questioning and overthinking myself has been a huge part of my own journey too.

That’s exactly what I’m going deeper into in 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲, our 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀.

How to stop overthinking your music, reconnect with what you actually feel, and start trusting yourself more in the creative process.

If that sounds like something you need right now, comment 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 and I’ll send you the details. 💙

Do you ever feel like your own mind is the thing stopping you from finishing music?

You get stuck in loops. Second-guess decisions. Tweak something that was probably already fine 😂 And eventually lose the feeling that made you excited about the track in the first place.

Alicia and I have created a FREE live masterclass exploring a completely different approach to this:

THE SONIC FLOW CODE
How to Finish More Music by Bypassing Your Mind.

We’re combining my world of music production and mentorship with Alicia’s work in Human Design to explore how YOU naturally make creative decisions in the studio, and how to stop your mind from constantly getting in the way.

I spent two creative sessions chasing the wrong melody.

I was convinced the breakdown needed something bigger, more emotional, more memorable. So I kept writing new ideas, refining them and trying to force something that never quite fit.

Eventually I stopped and listened back from the beginning. That’s when I realised the answer had been there all along. I’d already written the melody the track wanted—I just didn’t trust it enough.

Looking back, this wasn’t really a melody problem. It was self-doubt disguising itself as production.

Self-doubt has a funny way of convincing us we need another layer, another plugin or another idea, when sometimes what we really need is the confidence to commit to what’s already in front of us.

I think recognising when self-doubt has taken over the session is one of the most valuable skills a producer can develop.

Have you ever realised you were trying to solve the wrong problem?

It’s made in the conversations we have with ourselves when nobody is watching.

For years I believed my biggest challenge was production.

Better sounds.
Better melodies.
Better arrangements.

Sometimes those things mattered.

But during a recent remix, I realised something deeper.

The hardest part wasn’t writing the music.

It was learning to recognise the voice that kept whispering:

“Maybe it’s not good enough.”

I think every producer has this conversation.

We just rarely talk about it.

This week, I want to change that.

Not by teaching more production techniques.

But by exploring the invisible conversations that shape every decision we make in the studio.

If you’ve ever questioned yourself while making music…

I think you’ll recognise a lot of what’s coming.

Been working on this really lovely, fun, feel-good remix that has been bringing me so much joy in the process.

This is the kind of joy and happiness that you don’t just hear, but feel.

Translating emotions into sound and music, and expressing them as stories is something I am very passionate about.

It’s also something I teach my students. We go deep so you understand yourself, emotions, and the story that your music is trying to tell.

My doors are open to new clients for remix work, ghost production, and mentorships.

PS… this is only one emotion in this remix. We go deep, and I make you feel that darkness too. That’s amazing storytelling. Can’t wait to share the whole thing!
