★ Its opening weekend for Taylor Fernandez’s Everyone Knows I’m A Pervert next up in the inaugural festival of New Writers, New Work, a KXT x National Institute of Dramatic Art partnership.

“So many of our writers get their first break at KXT, so it’s great to be able to formalise this partnership and strengthen the pathway between training and industry. There’s something transformative for emerging writers about seeing their work in front of audiences for the first time, and having heard early pitches for these works, I’m excited to finally see them on stage!” Said Joe Hepworth, NIDA Head of Dramatic Writing.

Neurotic erotica writer Chastity Onan's worst fear comes true when she accidentally send her twisted writing out to all 172 of her email contacts. Now everyone knows the dirty truth about her: she's a pervert. As her guilt turns into utter chaos, Chastity Onan is forced to stop deflecting and confront her crazy behaviour. Arreverent comedy by Taylor Fernandez about s*x, OCD, and guilt—and how our neuroses can spiral when we believe everything is our fault.

In 2023 we opened the doors at KXT on Broadway, a purpose-built independent theatre with a mission to expand the opportunities to artists, and build genuine pathways for career progression. We’ve come this far with the support of a small cohort of committed investors and supporters and we’re looking for others to join the family.

KXT is known for being affordable and accessible. We offer tix from as low as $30 and have regular Open Door perfs on Thursdays, making it easier for everyone to attend. $20 tickets are available for under 30s, students, First Nations and unwaged. We have dedicated seating for those with mobility needs. KXT is wheelchair accessible
