Our Story

Mark Matula has a strong presence in the rock and metal music scene. He’s successfully worked with both Australian and international artists including Boris The Blade, Aura Animi and Bayside (USA) . Working at Def Wolf Studios for A number of years, he has had the opportunity to work with Modern Baseball (USA), Totally Unicorn, Polaris and Stories. Mark utilises all his skills into each project he works on, using top range equipment, professional experience and carefully designed acoustics to guarantee top results. Mark has a passion for metal music and believes that every sample holds an important part in creating the final track exactly how you want it. He strives to record and produce music that tells your story and provoke feeling from the listener. He creates tracks that you want to listen to again and again. Mark pays close attention to all members and their instruments, creating a seamless flow and working together to understand what the musicians need. Understanding that different people have different needs, Mark is often asked questions involving rates, time frame for recording, editing, delivery, and other details.
