Hey everyone! It's me Marek Pionka. Just wanted to make a post here and update you all on where I've been and what's on the horizon

First of all, I’m BACK in Sydney! After an incredible journey choreographing and teaching overseas, I’m thrilled to return to my home base of Sydney, and start things off by re-opening bookings/enquiries for wedding dance routines!

For those that don't know me, or my story, dance has been a lifelong passion. From being a 5-time Polish National Champion in my younger years, to moving to Australia with my family and starting to teach dance. This allowed me to share that passion with those that were willing to give it a try

Good Morning Everyone! Hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas and/or New Years celebration.

2015 looks to be a fantastic year! So let's start it off as we always do...with a spot of dancing.
Here's a run down of what classes are starting up again for the new year:

Hello everyone!

There's been a small change to the group class schedule for tonight. First of all, we will not be holding the 8:15pm beginners class at Crossover Studio tonight.

Instead, we are inviting all students to the 6pm class at City Dance Studio. As a lead-in to our 7pm social night (coincidentally, that event is also being held at the same location) we are replacing the Bronze class with an Open Level dance class. I believe Marek has chosen Tango and its various forms as the dance of choice for this class.

As always, everybody is welcome to both the 6pm class AND the 7pm social that follows. Tickets available both at-the-door OR online via our MindBody page.

Looking forward to seeing you all at our final social dance event for 2014!

Hello everyone!

Due to the recent events in Sydney, Step Up Dance Studio has decided to cancel tonight's planned classes.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by yesterday's chaos.

Classes will resume from tomorrow, please check our website for an updated timetable.

Hey everyone! This is Adam, Manager of Step Up Dance Studio.

It is my sad duty to inform you all that we have regrettably been forced to change our studio location. The news came in the afternoon of Wednesday, and Marek, myself and all the teachers were left speechless.

Needless to say, we are doing everything in our power to find a replacement venue in the interim and will keep you all informed throughout the process.

It goes without saying, all classes are suspended until further notice, but we will honour all remaining class credits, so there is no need to worry about losing out on what you've paid for. For all our Private Lesson students, you will be contacted by Marek and/or Vlad to discuss alternative arrangements.

On behalf of Step Up Dance Studio and Marek, I would like to extend our deepest thanks to you all for your support during this difficult period and we look forward to sharing the bright future that lies ahead with you all!
