‘The Local Vocals’

Anybody who loves to sing; budding professionals or beginners are all invited to join our local community choir. A unique choir that will feed your soul!

We come from all parts of the Lower North Shore and some beyond - Lane Cove, Castlecrag, Willoughby, Northbridge, Crows Nest, St Ives, etc.

If you are wanting to build self-confidence, have loads of fun, improve on your singing technique, meet new friends within your community, laugh, and sing then this is the choir for you!

We perform songs from all contemporary genres; heartfelt ballads to toe tapping soul, pop, rock, gospel, swing and pop/classical crossover. Some examples are; FRAGILE BY STING, A PLACE IN THE CHOIR BY CELTIC THUNDER, YOU RAISE ME UP BY JOSH GROBAN and many many more.

This unique choir participates in Community events, festivals, social events, fundraisers and other cultural activities.

Ages range from 45 to 85 - no audition required - as long as you can hold a tune we would love to have you in our choir.

Cost per gathering is $15 (includes Tea and Coffee). Daniel O’Kelly accompanies us on Piano and I will be lead the choir. As a Singing Teacher and Professional Performer myself, I also be teach some singing technique and share vocal tips each week with you all.

WHERE: NORTHBRIDGE LIBRARY (UPSTAIRS) 258 Sailors Bay Rd, Northbridge 2063 CORNER OF NAMOI RD. (Free street parking available)

WHEN: 7.30PM TO 9.30PM EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT.

It has been proven that being apart of a choir increases your Dopamine, Serotonin, Oxytocin, and Endorphin levels -the quartet responsible for your happiness and wellbeing.
