✨Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening of
Embracing Diversity – China National Academy of Painting International Art Dialogue Exhibition!

Bringing together works by 65 contemporary masters of Chinese painting and calligraphy, the exhibition explores the rich and diverse expressions of Chinese ink art through four sections: Observing the Way with a Clear Mind, Figures in Myriad Forms, Scenery of the Four Seasons, and Timeless Bronze and Stone Inscriptions.

Through ink, colour, brushwork and inscriptions, the exhibition invites us to discover the cosmic vision, humanistic spirit and aesthetic ideals embedded in Chinese art — while reflecting on how traditional culture can continue to resonate across different cultures and generations. ❤️

The exhibition is now open, and we look forward to welcoming more visitors throughout the exhibition period!

Rather than relying only on words, the artwork communicates through atmosphere, emotion and imagination—inviting viewers to reflect on memories and moments that remain quietly within us.
This work reminds us that animation is not only storytelling, but also a way to preserve feelings, dreams and human experiences.

🎬 Film Screening: A Tale of Three Cities

Join us at the China Cultural Centre in Sydney for a special screening of A Tale of Three Cities, a deeply moving love story inspired by true events.

Set during the turbulent 1940s and 1950s, the film follows Fang Daolong (Sean Lau) and Chen Yuerong (Tang Wei), whose love unfolds across three cities — Anhui, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Separated by circumstance and the upheavals of history, the couple hold on to a promise to reunite in Hong Kong. As Daolong waits anxiously by the shore for Yuerong to arrive, an unexpected disaster puts their long-awaited reunion in doubt.

Blending romance with the realities of separation, migration and uncertainty, A Tale of Three Cities offers an emotional glimpse into a generation whose lives and loves were shaped by extraordinary times.

Inspired by Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio
Great stories never stop finding new ways to be told.
Inspired by 《聊斋志异》 (Liaozhai Zhiyi / Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio), this illustration reimagines the story of 贾儿 (The Merchant’s Son)—a tale of courage, intelligence and determination.

By transforming traditional Chinese folklore into contemporary visual storytelling, the artwork demonstrates how ancient narratives continue to inspire new generations of artists.

Through illustration and animation, timeless stories continue to travel across cultures.
