So special to be back at the Sydney Opera House for last Friday’s ANZAC Sunset tribute concert, performing alongside the wonderful guitarist Giuseppe Zangari.
For this beautiful evening, I wore a bespoke creation by the stellar Australian label ‘Romance Was Born’ . It’s shimmering sequin bird motif was perfect for the uplifting nature of the concert 🎶
Giuseppe and I were thrilled to play Gabriel‘s oboe the single from our album Amore, which is available across all streaming platforms.
Huge thanks to Anthony McCarthy and the Australian Remembrance Foundation for including me and for all the care and dedication that went into creating such a moving and memorable event. 🌅✨

Last night’s Lest We Forget – ANZAC Sunset Concert at the Sydney Opera House was an unforgettable tribute. I was deeply honoured to perform alongside an extraordinary group of artists — Mark Vincent, Dami Im, Bryan Brown, Sam Neill, James Morrison, Little Pattie, Josephine Stark, Giuseppe Zangari — with a magnificent orchestra and the choir members of the Australian Navy and Army.
It was a profoundly moving evening. Many of us, both on stage and in the audience, were brought to tears as we reflected on the true ANZAC spirit — self-sacrifice, valour, honour — and the enduring hope that we continue striving for peace.

Honoured to perform at The Lest We Forget Sunset Tribute – a special ANZAC Eve FREE concert, Sydney Opera House, Fri 24 April. I’m playing with colleague Giuseppe Zangari & 150 of Australia’s leading military, veteran, civilian artists remembering those who served.

My grandfather, Captain John Noble Shipton, was decorated for bravery in both World Wars. I will wear his medals, and my Chevalier des Arts et Lettres medal with gratitude and pride.

ChinaMaxing! 🇨🇳🪈 Still celebrating the incredible Year of the Fire Horse & its inspiring new energy.
Here’s “Lift Up Your Veil (Chin Chin)” — a beloved traditional Chinese folk piece from my album Third Culture with guitarist John Huie & bass player Hugh Fraser. This song is as treasured in China as Waltzing Matilda is in Australia! 🇦🇺
I performed it all over China a few years ago — the lights from thousands of phones swayed through the audience like stars 🌟. Such a moving, unforgettable experience!
