Crossover Dance Studio is Sydney’s largest street dance studio, with over 80 classes per week over a range of street and commercial styles. Founded in 2010, we have over 10 years of experience in helping the Sydney community learn the moves, foundations and culture of the dances we love. With internationally respected and acclaimed instructors from multiple styles and backgrounds, we can help you to improve and enjoy your dance! We operate under one simple rule, dance is fun and there's a place for everyone to enjoy it. We feature classes designed from absolute beginners to advanced international levels so don't worry if you're just starting out or looking for a challenge, come and check out what we do! Our studio features 4 studios, sprung wood safety floors, full lift access, changing rooms, air conditioning and a large reception area, We are located in the city and close to public transport. We're always happy for people to come and see how we do things, so feel free to contact us with any questions, or come down and check out a class!

🕺About the instructor/class:
This class focuses on rhythm training through basic choreography. We’ll play with different rhythms, develop groove, and explore how to use the upper and lower body together or independently.

The main focus is on building rhythm, groove, and body control!

🕺About the instructor/class:
Started dancing when he was a high school student. And he was focused on 90’s Hip Hop and New Jack swing Style. Then he moved to Osaka and he was going around in Japan for a lot of show case , judges and workshops.

Hip Hop Workshop w Jumpei .gram

About the class:
A high-energy Hip Hop workshop focused on musicality, groove, texture and individual expression. The class will combine choreography with freestyle-based exercises, helping dancers build confidence, musicality and their own unique style while having fun and connecting with the music.

About the instructor:
I’m a Japanese Hip Hop dancer and instructor based in Sydney. I have experience performing, competing and teaching dance in Japan, including workshops for university dance communities and dance studios. My style focuses on groove, musicality and individuality, and I enjoy creating an energetic and welcoming environment where dancers can express themselves.

ARISA, representing Booyakasha and Gacha Gacha has been an active and influential figure in Sydney’s hip-hop scene since 2013.
Known for her groove and freestyle flow, she has shared her skills internationally, including teaching in Guangzhou, China in 2019.

🕺About the Instructor:
I started with Chinese dance and ballet as a young child. One day, I discovered K-pop and found out that you could actually learn and dance to it, which led me to Crossover! 12 years later, I’ve tried many different dance styles, from hip hop to vogue, but I always find myself coming back to girls’ choreo.

🕺About the class:
My dance style is heavily inspired by hip hop, commercial and street jazz, so if you enjoy strong, clean and hard-hitting movements, you’ll love my class 💛
