We’re excited to share Living Layers – a new mural in Wentworthville by local artist Christina Huynh (STYNA)

Set beside Friend Park, the artwork draws inspiration from the plants and atmosphere of the park – extending that natural character up onto the building.

But what makes this project unique is that it’s been designed to evolve over time.

Right now, you’re seeing the first stage.
As the area changes and new connections are built, the artwork has the potential to grow – creating a lush, green link through to the park.

A big thank you to Christina for her beautiful work, and to Oscar George Projects and Cumberland City Council for supporting public art in Wentworthville.

Take a look next time you’re in the area 👀

Galuwa Recreation Centre opened last weekend – a fantastic new sports and recreation facility for the Lane Cove community (by AJC).

ARTSCAPE designed the signage and wayfinding to be clear, consistent and familiar, continuing the visual language developed across Lane Cove over many years so visitors can move through the building comfortably from day one.

We're proud to play a part in shaping a place the community now considers one of the most liveable in Australia.

Thanks to Lane Cove Council for the continued trust and Cunneen Signs for bringing the work to life.

Goodbye 2025 👋 Hello 2026 ✨

Last year was full of planning, designing and making — and we’re proud of what we delivered.

But we’ve also got projects in motion that will come to life in 2026, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

We’re excited to share this video about ‘Everywhere You Are’ by David Cianci – an artistic wayfinding project created for St Marys.

Delivered as part of the St Marys Place Plan, the project shows how strategy can be transformed into something people experience and connect with in their everyday journeys.

'Everywhere You Are' – now installed in the heart of St Marys!

A playful new public artwork has landed on Queen Street 🎨✨

Designed by David Cianci (ARTSCAPE), this colourful artistic wayfinding project wraps 16 poles and 6 banner markers with bright, abstract patterns and a watchful “eye” that says: you are here, you’re seen, you belong.

From hugs and high-fives to swirling lines that echo hidden creeks – this project is all about joy, movement, and community love.

Take a stroll. Follow the colour. Keep an eye out 👁️

'Cloudlines' is lighting up Green Square.

Suspended above the new pedestrian walkway between Zetland Avenue and The Drying Green, this captivating illuminated sculpture by Lightwell transforms live weather data into shifting colours, rhythms, and animations. Temperature, rainfall, and wind are translated through generative code into glowing patterns.

Curated by ARTSCAPE for Mirvac, 'Cloudlines' reflects the Green Square Public Art Strategy’s Art & Ecology theme – interpreting “green” not just as nature, but as wellbeing and connection.

A huge thank you to the many hands that brought this vision to life:

'The Shape of Things to Come', by David Cianci – refreshed and reimagined in West Crown Street, Wollongong.

Originally installed in 2018 as a five-year pilot, this artwork responded to local voices asking for colour, light, seating and wayfinding.

Seven years later, the street had changed – and a refresh to the artwork was called for to reflect that shift.

Rather than remove it, we added a new skin that lets the original pattern shine through.
A layered approach that reflects how places (and people) evolve over time.

Built right, built to adapt.

The Land Around Us, by David Cianci stands as a landmark at the gateway to the Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre and Visitor Information Centre - a sculptural expression of connection between people, place, and time. Its flowing, abstract form invites creative interpretation, reflecting the rolling hills, rivers, and valleys that define the Hunter region.

The work speaks to the ancient rhythms of the land - once a vast seabed, shaped over millennia into the diverse terrain we see today. Enveloped by the Great Dividing Range and national parks such as Yengo, Barrington, and Wollemi, Singleton exists within a landscape formed by elemental forces - fire, rain, and renewal. Warm illumination emerges from within the work, concentrated at points of intersection - symbolising energy, renewal, and harmony.

The Land Around Us is a reminder of our role as custodians, honouring, sustaining, and celebrating the landscapes we call home.
