Today’s mood. Haven’t illustrated any portraits for a while and had this little sketch tucked away. A few colour combos later, she’s giving me nostalgic power suit vibes ✌️

Patterns, patterns, patterns! Who doesn’t love a good set of repeats? I’ve been deep in love-inspired surface pattern design mode lately. Here are a few of my favourites and how I see them living their best life out in the wild. 🌿

These days I try to focus on the simple things - watching the sunrise, being still in nature, listening to beautiful bird calls, smelling the flowers, and trying to find peace in our precious natural world. ✌️

One of my favourite projects of 2026 so far - swipe to see this editorial commission for March/April cover & hero story ‘Counter Culture’ - a piece about cannabis farming in Jersey.
Thanks to Craig & the team for the art direction.

I’m excited to share my two entries for the print callout.
I had so much fun creating these—pulling from some older works while introducing more recent shapes and fluid forms. Paired with some nostalgic colour palettes (loving the green!) these dreamy little worlds are an invitation to slow down and take a breath from the madness of the real world right now ✌️
I’m super stoked with how they turned out and inspired to see if I can flex this direction (so stay tuned).
As always hand drawn, human-made by me 🫶

Nature Fills My Cup - A folk-inspired illustration about my connection to nature and the quiet awakening that came with slowing down.
For years I lived in constant motion. Job to job, place to place, always something to tick off. It felt normal, like I was doing what I was meant to do. But I was rarely still enough to notice how disconnected I felt — from myself, from my surroundings, from anything that wasn’t urgent.
Moving to a sleepy coastal town changed that. The shift wasn’t dramatic, but it was deep. Life softened. I started paying attention. I learned how to sit in the quiet without trying to fill it.
Now my days are shaped by simple things — trees, tide changes, the birds that visit our yard and the joy of watching them drink and dip in the bird bath. Walking the same bush and beach track every morning and realising it’s never actually the same twice.
Nature isn’t just calm, though. It’s wild and unpredictable. The ocean turns without warning. Storms roll in fast. Some seasons there’s more rain that the earth can handle. There’s something unnerving about that — but also exhilarating. It’s a reminder of how small we are, how little control we really have, and how freeing that feels.
This piece comes from that awareness — the peace, the wildness, and the quiet awakening in between. 🕊️🌴🌼

Another little pattern study, wrapped around a perfect pear 🍐
In old European folklore, pear trees were planted near the home for protection — but never too close to the door, because a tree at the threshold was said to listen, holding the household’s words in its wood.
Cool but a little creepy 👂👂
