🀯 Okay it's no where near as good as a real life visit but now everyone can "visit" The Criterion Collection closet! 1,247 real Criterion editions that are shelved in spine-number order - exactly as a true collector keeps them. Look around, read the spines, and pull any one off the shelf to inspect the case!

Crazily we are celebrating 20 years this September for SUFF (i know insane) and we are having a modest support drive before June 30.

A big portion of this money will go to printing the program as it wouldn't be right to not have a physical program to hold for this milestone year! And thanks to the Australian Cultural Fund you will get an instant tax deductible receipt.

Thanks everyone for your support over the years whether it's been via a campaign drive, making films, buying tickets or just championing SUFF!

We have 14 days left and at 51%!

Oh no! Devastated to read that Yoshihiro Nishimura passed away a few days ago! We were lucky to have screened a number of his films over the years (Meatball Machine Kodoku, Holy Mother, Tokyo Evil Hotel, Helldriver..). Yoshihiro only sent us his latest film "Geisha War" in March exclaiming "It's finished!" So this comes as a huge shock. Rest in peace Yoshihiro. We will miss your enthusiasm and crazy splatterfest films that you always put so much of your heart and soul into.

Yoshihiro Nishimura, the director behind films like β€œTokyo Gore Police” and β€œWelcome to Japan,” died Monday.

This is great!

This is great!

Jordan Dautovic learnt to develop film during lockdown. Now he’s betting he can bring it back big-time – with a little help from Peter Jackson.

Did you know you can support the 20th Annual SUFF through the Australian Cultural Fund (ACF) and receive a tax-deductible receipt at the same time?

Huge thanks to ACF for helping Australian artists and cultural events raise vital funds!

πŸ“’ Every donation helps us continue yelling from the rooftops about some awesome indie, underground, trashy, wild, experimental movies!

🎯 We know that times are tough all around and we only ever set a modest target - but we are pleased to say we are already 47% funded!
