Advertising space in the 2027 AIMEX Directory is now open. Printed and distributed across the marine industry all year round, the Directory keeps your brand in front of buyers and decision-makers long after the show floor has cleared. Positions are limited and allocated as bookings come in, so members with their eye on prime placement should get in early.

Bookings close Friday 2 October 2026 - contact Sam Rouhan, Membership & Sponsorship Manager, at [email protected].

AIMEX Alley returns to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) in 2027, and two stands have become available in our pavilion. Positioned in The Pavilion at the entrance to the Sanctuary Cove precinct, AIMEX Alley puts exhibiting members alongside their peers, in front of the large, engaged crowd SCIBS draws to the Gold Coast each year. This is a rare opportunity for AIMEX, Superyacht Australia and ACMG members to secure a stand in one of Australia's largest boat shows.

Stands will be allocated first in, first served.

AIMEX is proud to support the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's 2026 National Trade Survey, now open to Australian exporters and importers.

The survey is the country's leading measure of how businesses are navigating trade challenges and positioning for growth, and every response helps ACCI and AIMEX advocate on members' behalf.

Marine businesses trading internationally, or considering it, are encouraged to take part. Entrants go into a prize draw for an ICC Academy training course valued at up to $600 AUD, or one of ten ICC Guide to Export/Import e-Books.

Control Point Group attended Asia Pacific Maritime in 2026 as a reasonably new member, with Owner and Direct Ditch attending with an experienced Australian delegation, many of whom return to APM year after year.

Ditch commented on his attendance: "As a first-time Australian company exhibiting internationally, The Control Point Group had no idea what to expect, or what would come from attending. I was nestled between two seasoned campaigners on the AIMEX stand, who from the get-go provided unprecedented support and advice.

What transpired next was unbelievable. Person after person, country after country, offer and offer came flooding in thick and thin. I had to pinch myself and rub the goosebumps off my arms multiple times a day, as the global interest in a Cairns-based innovation had exceeded any expectations that I brought with me.

At an expo dominated by systems and components designed to improve ships, the Sukkagon was one of the few solutions built to improve how people work on them. This was noticed and embraced by commercial shipyard owners and operators, senior executives, safety / compliance and governance leaders, as well as defence and naval decision makers.

I can’t wait to be back with the AIMEX team at the next expo to highlight to the world that Australian companies are up there with the best of them."

The Control Point Group returned to Australia, taking on sponsorship of the Australian Commercial Marine Conference and adding Superyacht Australia and Australian International Marine Export (AIMEX) membership to their Australian Commercial Marine Group membership.

The Sydney Member Networking Drinks delivered a fantastic turnout, bringing members together following the Australian Commercial Marine Conference.

Held aboard Starship Sydney at Darling Harbour, the event welcomed AIMEX, Superyacht Australia and ACMG members for an evening of connection and conversation in a relaxed setting.

These events are a key part of the membership experience, offering valuable opportunities to strengthen industry relationships, meet new contacts and continue conversations beyond the conference environment.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the night such a success.
