Happy New Year! I was feeling a little creative last night and wanted to capture some star-shaped bokeh! I took this photo at our local NYE celebrations with my Canon DSLR, with a black cardboard circle cut to the size of the 50mm Prime lens with a small star shape cut out in the middle of the circle fitted onto the lens and then a follow-up edit in Snapseed! I love this effect and have a few more ideas for use throughout the year and maybe for using with portrait photos!
