Do you love singing music that feels like it was written for your voice? Then come and sing with us this semester! Our next concert is called the Search for Home and includes a beautiful new Australian suite called Migrating Birds by Kevin Barker. It’s a new work commissioned by our Artistic Director Aija Draguns and it is stunning! Check out Kevin’s other music he has recorded and you will want to sing this.

We are a non auditioned community choir that isn’t afraid to rise to great heights! Come along on Weds evening 7-9pm Leichhardt Public School Hall. This week we’re having drinks as well!

Term 2 with the Leichhardt Espresso Chorus starts on Wednesday June 3rd, and we’re excited to begin rehearsals for our next program, A Search for Home, to be performed in September.

We are a friendly, non-auditioned choir and welcome anyone who enjoys singing — whether you’ve sung in choirs for years or simply love to sing in the shower!

Bravo LEC! In the beautiful historic St Johns Church Darlinghurst this weekend we brought to life Fauré's Requiem alongside a compelling new commission by emerging Australian composer Audrey Ormella and The Word is Peace by Dan Walker. We were proud to share the stage with our Artistic Director Aija Draguns, organist Samuel Giddy, soprano Sophie Blades, and baritone Hayden Barrington, showcasing outstanding Australian artists in a deeply personal and immersive choral experience.

Another wonderful rehearsal this week at St John's Anglican Church. Such a privilege to make music in this beautiful space, and especially to spend time with Sam and the church’s fabulous organ — an instrument with such warmth, colour, and character. From the rich foundations to the brilliant reeds, it fills the church with an incredible sound and brings every piece to life.
