Happy Australian National Tree Day!
Today we are celebrating the release of Our Love Affair with Trees, the new book by Jodi Rose and Len Metcalf.
The book presents impressions from artists, botanists, recreational gardeners, entrepreneurs, nurses, children and more. These reflections are interspersed with lovingly composed photographs of dancers and trees, exploring the interdependence between humankind and our beautiful leafy counterparts.
Designed and produced by Len’s Journal. Len Metcalf is renowned as a leading Australian photographic educator and landscape photographer. His unique vision of nature and the human body presented in this book complements 20 personal interviews I conducted with people around the world who expressed the sacred role of trees and nature in their lives.
