The Kenthurst Community Pool is now open
A record number of Pool members have already renewed their membership for the 26-27 swim season; the pool is open from 6:00am to 10:00pm 7 days for members. The swim season will run through to April 2027 (exact date depending on weather / water temperature).
New concrete has been laid on the Kenthurst Road, side of the pool over the winter months. Many thanks to the community spirited tradies who gave their time and expertise in renewing the damaged concrete.
As a result of these works, a small section of the grassed area is "out of bounds" to allow the grass to re-establish. This section will be fenced off for about a month to ensure that dirt does not get carried into the pool (increasing cleaning and chemical usage).
As an FYI it costs over $25,000 per year to run the pool (electricty, chemicals and replacement bits etc). Volunteers manage the day-to-day operations and cleaning, so community support is always welcome.
We missed the bindi spraying window this year so there are some bindis in the grass areas, please supervise your younger children to avoid tears (please accept our apologies in advanced).
The pool water today is a warm 21 degrees suggesting we are in for a long hot summer.
There is an emergency contact name and number displayed in the pool area and main gate but please note a ball "lost" in the pool grounds does not constitute an emergency.
