Learn Painting with Andre

Art class with Andre is situated in trendy Newtown, an inner-city suburb of Sydney that's full of cafes, bars, artists and wonderful street art. Classes are held at Lennox St. Studios an historic 1920s school used as a workshop by its artists. We cater for beginner to advance level students classes are drop in with a booking,$30 /class and cover all styles of painting and drawing from realism to abstraction.

There are after school art classes attended by local kids in a safe nurturing environment plus adult morning classes and mixed parent/child classes. There is an emphasis on strong technical drawing and painting as a basis for developing your own style and creativity. Andre Hobday has been practising painting for over 20 years. Working full time within the art industry. He is often assisted by Mia Anania a primary school teacher with 20 yrs of experience at Darlington primary.P.S all classes for now held online through zoom platform.
