Join Our Kitchen Team;
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in preparing quality food, and values being part of a supportive and professional workplace.
We offer generally consistent, set hours throughout the year, with additional shifts often becoming available during busy and peak trading periods. We're looking for someone who appreciates routine but is also willing to be flexible when demand increases.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to established standards
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen organisation
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and office team members
- Support smooth kitchen operations during both regular and peak service periods
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Sound knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Availability to take on additional shifts during seasonal peak periods when required
Working Hours
- Regular, set rostered hours for most of the year
- Opportunity for additional or sporadic shifts during busy seasons, special events, and peak trading periods
- Flexibility during these times will be highly regarded
