Jem handmakes these ceramic mugs herself and then lets your explore your creativity by painting your own design.

Last night we hosted the last workshop of 2021!!

It was such a cosy and relaxing evening painting away those beautiful Christmas florals.

Our artist Parika is truly talented in watercolour and each student surprised themselves of how good their painting were looking!

This morning our studio was filled with so much Christmas spirit thanks to the Christmas Macrame Wreath workshop run by Angela from Hygge Crafter

How stunning do these wreaths look!! 😍😍😍

Angela first taught us some macrame and then how to style our wreath with native florals.

Such a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. 🎄

// MEET YOUR CALLIGRAPHY TEACHER //

Tonight we are running the Copperplate Calligraphy Basics workshop with the very talented Beck from Melbourne!!
A Small Drop of Ink Calligraphy

We would love to have Beck in our studio one day, but for now we are running her classes via Zoom.

We asked Beck what are some interesting things we should know about her, this is what she said:

1. I love geology and science and have a Masters in Environmental Policy.
2. I am obsessed with anything floral, so much so I had a floral themed 21st, everyone wore a floral pattern and it was amazing.
3. I love interior design and have way too many cushions, mugs and lamps in my house.

We are super excited to have Beck part of our YaMogu Academy team and will be keeping you in the loop for some exciting things to come with her as well!

You can register for her next Zoom class on the 23rd of October via our link in bio. Be sure to register in advance, as kits are required for this class, and we don't want them to be delayed in the shipping process. Ps. her calligraphy kits are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

Are you looking for school holiday activities for your kids that are Covid safe?

Can we suggest a 3 day watercolour course for your little munchkins?

Our talented watercolour artist Parika is running this fun class where your kids can learn the foundation of watercolour and then create their own master piece at the end of the 3 days.

They will learn:

/ Day 1: 28th September (11am – 12.30pm) /
• Introduction to Watercolour
• Colour theory for better understanding of Colours
• Fun Watercolour techniques
• Watercolour Basics

/ Day 2: 29th September (11am – 12.30pm) /
• Sketching and painting three types of Watercolour popsicles using the techniques learnt on Day 1.

/ Day 3: 30th September (11am – 12.30pm) /
• Sketching and painting Watercolour cupcake and fruits using the techniques learnt on Day 1.

They will also receive their very own watercolour kit in the mail which inlcudes:

• A watercolour kit will be sent to you before the class:
• 300 gsm watercolour sheets(4A4, 6A5)
• Watercolour set of 12 paints
• Mixing palette
• Watercolour round brush
• Color Wheel, Popsicle and cupcake templates
• A step by step guide to watercolour basics (sent via email)
