This is definitely my favourite part when someone connects with your work and there home just sinks in with the piece. What a joy!

Field Notes is such a beautiful publication. It feels like a collection of stories about people, places and the communities that make scout what it is. In a world that’s becoming more and more digital, there’s something grounding about this magazine. I couldn’t have enjoyed it more it made me think about why I ever stopped reading magazines made me want to sit in the sun and read more beautiful stories.

I’m so grateful to have my work included amongst it all.

A huge thank you to S C O U T S T U D I O S. Their genuine sense of community and care for the people they house is evident in everything they create.

And of course Lucy Beaumont eliza thank you for always making space for me and for building such a beautiful community. ❤️

This beautiful publication is by
All Good Things Media and … I’m completely fan girling over the editorial.

Two pieces of mine are part of the Winter Glow exhibition at Brunswick Street Gallery.

Such an honour to be included in this beautiful group show.

I usually make work that feels warm, sun drenched and very Australian so it was nice to challenge myself to think about winter instead. Not the cold but those little pockets of warmth you find in it. Soft light, quiet afternoons, earthy colours and that feeling of slowing down.

Borrowed Fig and Setting are showing until 26 July. If you’re in Melbourne I’d love for you to see them. 🤍

Woman in Vessel came about right at the end of making this collection.

I love everything about making this painting. The idea of containing a woman within a vessel, thinking not just about the subject itself but the tension between the figure and the shape around her.

She was one of those works that taught me when to stop, when to walk away and let the painting become what it wanted to be. The deep layers, the way her profile slowly emerged, and even the raised profile of the frame all became part of the work.

She’s now off to live with the incredibly talented By Ulani . It’s always such an honour when another creative connects with your work, especially someone whose style I admire so much. Thank you
