Splinter Factory was many things. It was a sharehouse that dubbed itself Splinter Factory back in June 2016. A space that opened its doors to friends and strangers for parties, gigs, workshops, jams and anything else that we could dream of.

It was a DIY community space that operated out of a flat above a shop. We had the space to create and freedom to make noise that allowed us access to a place to express ourselves more freely, and make our dreams reality.

On May 2026 the residence received an eviction notice to vacate the premises in 90 days, which marked the end of the space we called Splinter Factory, but the community we formed continues.

This one goes out to all of you. To anyone and everyone who lived here, crashed here, washed some dishes, played some music, cleaned away cans, painted our walls, cooked here, danced here and just showed up. Every single one of you made Splinter what it was, just by being exactly who you are. Don't ever forget how magic you are!
