Affectionately known as โ€œDaddyโ€, Cleo Rapture is comprised of equal parts brains, beauty and biceps. She is a performance artist, event programmer, and movement coach. A deity of Pole Dance, Fire Artistry, Comedy and Burlesque; and a proud queer woman above all. Cleo is a firm fixture in the Gadigal (Sydney) nightlife scene, and regularly headlines at queer events, cabarets and festivals. A spread

Cleo was the Float Coordinator for Queer & Gender Diverse Pole Dancers, as part of the 2024 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade. The float was awarded a โ€˜Special Commendationโ€™ at the Parade awards ceremony. They glamorously returned to the Parade in 2025.

๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝCleo is the resident Hostess at Junipero - Oxford Streetโ€™s premiere monthly Queer & Lesbian party at The Burdekin.

โ€˜THE RAPTUREโ€™ is Cleoโ€™s cabaret showcase of her personal Doctrine of Divine Healing through High Heels. It is a theatrical fusion of circus excellence, autobiographical comedy and heady eroticism. Assisted by an ensemble of queer artists, THE RAPTURE features jaw-dropping aerials and sideshow acts embedded amongst Cleoโ€™s homage to her ancestry, sฤ™x work and spirituality.๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ

Cleo launched herself onto the international stage in March 2023, touring to London and Manchester (UK), where she notably performed alongside pole dance princess Kitty Velour, at โ€˜THE PUSSY PARLOUR CABARETโ€™. Since returning down under, she has toured the Australian festival circuit, including Adelaide Fringe, North Australia Festival of Arts, Sydney Fringe and Newcastle Fringe. Her pole dance prowess appeared across many Sydney World Pride events in 2023, and in many shows at the legendary Wonderland Spiegeltent.๏ฟฝ

Throwback to 2023, dancing for pole royalty Kitty Velour at The P***y Parlour ๐ŸฐThis deity gave me immense hope and hoetry during a bleak period in my life. Iโ€™m as inspired by her movement today, as I was when I started dancing 8 years ago. Her shows, her heart, her vision, her honesty, her assโ€ฆ all beyond. History will regard her as a pioneer in the pole sphere ๐Ÿ’— I still pinch myself that I could meet and dance with her.
