Jetsets is an artist-run series at Stadium Rockdale in Gadigal, Kameygal and Bidgigal Country (Sydney).

Two Tuesdays a month at 7:30pm we present 2 sets of boundary-pushing jazz and improvised music.

Doors - 7:30pm

8pm - Tina Stefanou & Elizabeth Jigalin - duo, vocalise, weave, wheeze, squeeze, rummage, etc.

9pm - Ira Hadzic - subtle sonic explorations, weaving gong drones that invite deep, embodied listening and explore the physicality of sound.

9pm - Gabriella Hill (tenor saxophone), Daniel Raymond (drums), Louis Wishart (trumpet) and Henry Hall (bass) - will improvise and play compositions from all band members.

We are honoured to have one of the most venerable ensembles in Australian music, austraLYSIS (formed 1989 in Sydney, as a continuation of LYSIS founded 1970 in the UK), at Stadium Rockdale.
Roger Dean (piano, electronics), Sandy Evans (saxophones), Phil Slater (trumpet), Greg White (electronics).

Jacques Emery will also be presenting a subdued counterpart to the “GIANT SHIMMER” extended percussion/strings solo project with tuning forks, singing bowls, radios, detuned guitars and other resonant bodies.
