Kurt Russell is attending a 35mm showing of ‘The Thing’ at the Portland’s Hollywood Theatre (one of Quinten Tarantino’s favorite theaters) with proceeds benefiting the Hollywood Theatre and The Goldie Hawn Foundation.

Tickets cost $100 (!!!) and will go on sale to Hollywood Theatre and Movie Madness members on Thursday, April 2 at 12:00pm. Remaining tickets on sale to the public the following day.

Not as much Deja Vu as I would’ve liked. The post office was derelict in 1999 but is now a posh Westin hotel. They renovated the stairs. Im not sure if they extended the set out the door for the cat or if they even moved the stairs! Kept the Checkerboard tiles for nostalgia but changed orientation.. ? So close.
