Spring cleaning is in full swing at home and studio.. and I found this gem! I remember making this on a weekend in the library at my boarding school when I was 15 yrs old.. Can you tell I was missing mum 💕.. The paper is all yellow now.. it definitely wasn’t archival quality and I guess I used my basic set of HB pencils, didn’t even get around to cleaning up the smudges before I got it laminated in a hurry to give it to mum.. and it proudly hung in her bedroom for a couple of decades before they sold the childhood home and moved out.. it’s been with me since I told her I would clean it up a bit and get it reframed.. a picture does speak a thousand words 💕
