Check this video out from my recent interview with the Natural Capitalist for my tips for escaping the rat race and getting on land with your tribe.

I would say it’s all about getting first hand exposure to these ideas, having embodied experiences of your new lifestyle, and starting today. Finding your voice, sharing your dream and connecting with others that have a similar vision are all super important too.

It's also great to start finding ways to use your own skill set to give back, to get into service for your vision to make these community living dreams beome a reality. Just like you need the help of others to get there, there's every likelihood that you have something to give that others also need.

How can I give value to my community? What can I give now to get the ball rolling for others that have similar dreams as me?

Somehow, if you implement these steps and get in motion towards your dream, you will find that you attract opportunities and others with the same dreams and things just start to happen. That was my experience with starting the Australia Freedom Network and holding seminars on building communities which all lead to starting my own project with other like-minded folk that I started to connect with.

“What do i want to do every day for the rest of my life?” "What value have I got to contribute to this dream?" Get into action making sure your actions match your ambitions. JUST START and let the rest come to you.

Check this video out from my recent interview with the Natural Capitalist for a new take on an old Bible verse.

There is a time coming soon in which we will have to recognise that the system we have created has been corrupted by those that seek to continue forever wars that have no end. This is business as usual for those at the top and has been for a long time.

More than 100 years ago, China was beaten up in multiple wars by the British essentially because they didnt want their population narcotized by powerful private British interests. To fight a war over such a thing seems absurd. But this corruption is nothing new, many wars continue to be fought to this day over oil, over control of strategic parts of the Earth, over control of the banking system, over currency hegimony.

But this system is headed towards failure, in many ways it is both economically and ecologically at a breaking point.

The Bible predicts a great returning of man to working the Earth, to giving up his investment in a system corrupted by the desire for war, power and domination.

It says that this will happen at the level of the common man, the householder - turning his back on it all and returning to a more time honored way of meeting his biological drive to provide and protect.

This is the way back to right livelihood and right relation with nature and our basic needs, by doing more for ourselves and withdrawing participation from a system corrupted from the top down.

Going to be making some live music and poetry events 30/7 to 8/8 and would love to meet up with some friends!

Also I'd love a place to stay, I can be super helpful around the house and I've been told before that I'm a humorous and entertaining house guest :p

So much of our anxiety and disconnection in the modern world may actually come from the whole process of how we establish and obtain the very homes in which we live.

In the west we seem to suffer from having made it all too easy.

Without very much effort on our part we essentially get handed the equivalent of what throughout history would have been a palace and then we are told, ok - here’s where you can buy all the food you could possibly want, here’s your palace rated with a design life of longer than you could ever possibly live, now go and figure out your purpose.

What we may be missing here is this - what if the whole process of finding your place to live, designing your home, working with others to build it whilst relating directly to the natural elements and resources in that place is the slow and intentional process that our bodies need in order to figure out who we are?��

What if we are wired ancestrally to understand ourselves on deep and important levels by building within a reciprocal network of relationships that includes the land we stand on, the materials from the surrounding landscape that we use, the animals that live there and the people we will work with to build?

Is it at least possible that the very fact that we give money in exchange for a mass produced residential box built by someone we don’t know to then live next to total strangers who we don’t rely on for much (if any) of our essential needs of living is at the heart of our deep feeling of disconnection and lack of belonging to place and people?��

It is for this reason here when we refer to building together we refer very literally to working together to build the structures that we will live in, doing this in reciprocity with the land and surrounding ecology.

This is an essential element in discovering a coherent understanding of who we are and where we belong and how we should live and relate in our chosen place.

We must reason with the ancestors, visit the spirit realms and convince the Gods that the Earth is a place that still values beauty, that still values song, that still values dance, that still chooses love.

Like an advocate in court, the argument for blessing the Earth with favour must be made convincingly.

Despite those that would attack us while we are dancing, we must make music in the ashes and hold each other when all feels lost.

The greatest act of defiance to those that spread terror is to dance, sing and remember the beauty of this life and our world.

May we make this our activism and our way of creating change.

May we refuse to believe anything other than that this world and this life are to be celebrated.

In this way we honour our dead and serve the living.
