Music can release an energy that awakens something inside that you felt had long expired. Just when you are ready for that awakening, Sloppycore Studio provides the space for you to make that music. But there is nothing slapdash about Sloppycore Studio, a meticulous recording, mixing and mastering, and rehearsal studio. Sloppycore Studio’s owner and head-engineer is Daniel Gurjian. Daniel brings a
passion for music that begun at age 1 when he first picked up a guitar and intuitively knew what to do with it. Mesmerized by music, Daniel grew up learning the guitar, bass and drums and continues to be an instrumentalist and songwriter. He was the lead singer of a metal band and performed at the Silence Festival in Nepal in 2017. He has collaborated with bands including Chronic. Daniel studied Audio Engineering at the Sydney Creative Media Institute School of Audio Engineering. He then started in his bedroom studio and has continued till now to write and produce a range of tracks that can be found on his YouTube site. He now has a brand new professional studio that he wants to open to others and continue to do what he loves most. Daniel knows that collaboration with the artist is essential in getting that accurate sound. He is a calm, creative individual who communicates constructively and makes the process of recording, mixing, mastering, or rehearsing, accommodating and enjoyable for the artist. Daniel is comfortable working across a wide variety of genres from classical, indie rock, pop and funk to heavier styles like hard-rock and metal. He works with bands and solo artists of all levels of experience.
