Hello Hello! Well, it’s time to announce our next theme, our May show is called “Icons” and we are asking artists to shape and submit their set featuring a single “Icon” and their songs. Think THE GREATS- Sinatra, David Bowie, Minnelli, Bette Midler… Give us a set featuring songs just by that Icon.

Please send through your most recent CV, Headshot and vision for your set. This will look like a paragraph explaining your vision for what your set will be about. Please name the songs you’d like to feature as well as the Icon you will be featuring. Please note: La La Lounge is a musical theatre cabaret night, so a vision for your set is imperative. Have a story, a bit of patter, a shape and we can work on the rest!
Artists are to submit 3-4 songs for a set of no more than 15 mins in length.

Artists will need to be available for a rehearsal Sunday 26th May during the day- (this is where you’ll run your set with our pianist and Victoria will direct/get the show on its feet), as well as the performance from 5:00pm Tuesday 28th May.

Submissions are open from now til Friday 10th May.
