Lets get to know a bit about comedian 💥

The Haiti-born comedian was raised in Miami, Florida and has been performing since the age of 18.

Ashley Fils-Aime has toured extensively throughout his career, heading as far abroad as Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Amsterdam and Norway and Australia.

Ashley has also toured as the opening act for internationally renowned comedian, Pablo Franciso.

Adding a few more notches to his belt, Ashley has also been on shows like MTV’s Sink or Swim, SiTV’s Stand-up Comedy Showcase and has featured in the Australian comedy movie How I Became A Vegetarian.

Ashley Fils-Aime has certainly propelled himself as a rising star in the comedy world and we are excited to have him bring the heat on The Comedy Hive stage.

COMEDY HIVE is around the corner and you deserve the very best! So let's get to meet Samuel Gebreselassie, an award winning comedian whose act brings a critical and fresh voice to comedy and social commentary. Born in Sudan to Ethiopian parents but spent the majority of his life in New Zealand and now he lives in Australia.

This unorthodox upbringing shaped a perceptive of the world that’s unique and hilarious. In 2017 and then again in 2019, he won the coveted C.o.W Bell at the Comedy Out West Open Mic Competition put on by the Maribyrnong City Council as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

His passion for comedy began when he discovered “The Chappelle Show”; a sketch show by comedian Dave Chappelle when he was in High School. He was inspired to write sketches in his past time, and now to pursue a career in standup comedy.
